Recruit a Thunderbird

Connect directly with students and alumni via Thunderbird’s online job board, Handshake. Handshake is a recruiting platform that allows employers to post full-time degree-related career positions and professional internships, sign up for events, schedule recruiting visits and more. It is free to create an account and post positions.

Thunderbird alumni also have access to post positions via T-bird Connect under the “Jobs & Career” tab.

Arizona State University hosts several career fairs and hiring events throughout the year that are open to all students, including Thunderbirds. This is a fantastic way to promote your opportunities to a wider variety of students.

Customized resume books are an excellent way to identify Thunderbird talent that aligns with your company’s position needs. These resume books are a curate list of resumes from current students who are looking for full-time roles or internships depending on your openings. Once you receive your resume book you can outreach to candidates you are interested in.

Engage in targeted coaching activities with students and alumni such as an etiquette dinner or career panel discussion. Building brand awareness and a talent pipeline can be most effective when you connect with students through a variety of avenues.
