Delivering Care with Global Reach.

The World Economic Forum reports that empathy and collaboration are two critical abilities for global manager success. These are equally critical for those seeking careers in Global Affairs. These abilities rely on the development of Social Capital. This program is designed to develop your Social Capital through field-based action learning, team-based projects, and stretch assignments. You will have the ability to build sustainable trusting relationships—the basis of Social Capital—with others from diverse parts of the world through development of intercultural empathy, the ability to have interpersonal impact, and to act with diplomacy.

Your Degree. Your Way.

Globally, due to aging population, many jobs of the future will involve health care services. The triple aim of improving patient experience of care, population health management, and cost-savings has made integrated health care very popular. The Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts that jobs in the area of medical and health care management will grow 20 percent between 2016-2026. The bureau also estimates the median annual wage for health care managers at $98,000, well above the U.S. median. In order to meet the growing need for integrated health care, Thunderbird created the Integrated Health Care concentration within the Master of Global Management degree program in partnership with the College of Health Solutions at Arizona State University.

The target audience for the concentration are current or aspiring managers in health care that would like to develop, implement, evaluate and sustain integrated care programs in diverse health care settings globally. You will gain perspective on both global management and integrated healthcare.

Our Admissions team will consider both your professional and personal experience when assessing your fit for the program. On average, our students have five years of professional experience before entering the program; however, each candidate's global leadership potential—and his or her ability to bring global experience and cultural insight into the classroom—is of utmost importance to our Admissions team. We seek to fill our program with globally minded students whose professional or personal experiences will add value to the diverse cultural and social Thunderbird experience.

You may not complete your own translation. Photocopies and notarized transcripts are not acceptable.
