About Helle Bank Jorgensen
Helle Bank Jorgensen is the Chief Executive Officer of Competent Boards, which offers a global online ESG Competent Boards Program, with a faculty of over 100 renowned international board members, executives and experts. She has a 30-year track record in turning Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG), Climate and Sustainability risks into innovative and profitable business opportunities. In 2021, she was chosen by the World Economic Forum (WEF) as an Expert for Corporate Governance, Leadership and Emerging Multinationals. In 2020, she was awarded the Global Impact Award and named one of "5 people in ESG to look out for." She is a business lawyer and state-authorized public accountant (CPA) by training, and holds a master's degree in business administration and auditing.

Named for Thunderbird Global Alumni Network Advisory Councilwoman Diane Ruebling, the Ruebling Roundtables are a monthly dialogue series that bring together students in Thunderbird's graduate and undergraduate programs with innovative industry leaders from around the world. The roundtables provide an intimiate, private setting for speakers to share their experiences, perspectives and learnings with students, and address a variety of topics including environment and sustainability in business; diversity, equity, inclusion, and beloning; and leadership.
