T-birds!

Please join us for a virtual networking session with the ASU Cohort of the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders. The session will take place on July 15th from 9:15am AZ time - 10:15am AZ time/ 3:15pm GMT - 4:15pm GMT.

We have an impressive group of 30 Fellows between the ages of 25 and 35, who will be participating from at least 25 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa. See attached for their biographies.

Historically, 44% of Fellows own a business, and 36% of them run a non-profit. The U.S. State Department does a good job of selecting really talented leaders who already are making a difference, and have the capacity for more.

The Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders is the flagship program of the U.S. Government’s Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI). YALI was created in 2010 and celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2020. Established in 2014, the Mandela Washington Fellowship has brought nearly 4,400 young leaders from every country in Sub-Saharan Africa to the United States for academic and leadership training. The Fellows, between the ages of 25 and 35, are accomplished innovators and leaders in their communities and countries.

PLEASE RSVP VIA T-BIRD CONNECT TO CONFIRM YOUR PARTICIPATION.
