Legend has it that Liu was a factory worker that lost his job and one of his hands due to an accident. "Liu Yi Shou" which means one-handed Liu setup a small hot pot restaurant outside his former factory, and grew the business to hundreds of global locations. From Chong Qing to Vancouver, lines form for hours for a table at the fabled Hot Pot restaurant.
We are very lucky to secure a private section of their new flagship Hong Kong location, with a specially prepared menu that includes 5 soup bases to mix and match. For carnivores we have all kinds of meats and meatballs to suit your palate. If you are a pescatarian we've got prawns, mussels, abalones, fish and fishballs. If you are not into meat we've got you covered too with a variety of veggies, mushrooms and tofu options.
Each person has two beers or soft drinks included. Feel free to BYOB because corkage is waived for us too.
The restaurant is centrally located on the festive pedestrian only Lee Tung Ave in Wanchai, in between Queen's Rd East and Johnson Rd. It is a 30 min walk from Central or Causeway Bay if you want to work up an appetite by coming on foot. Wan Chai MTR exit B2 is 3 mins away. The Tesla Dealership is a convenient taxi drop off location.
