The core of the Thunderbird Educator Network is its global array of distinguished full-time faculty at Thunderbird and affiliated faculty members, industry experts, coaches and trainers from around the globe, allowing us to meet our clients’ needs around the world. These top-quality educators have consistently been ranked among the best Executive Education faculty by Financial Times.

Thunderbird faculty members are recognized for their experience, diversity, pragmatic research, global business knowledge and applied program design. In addition to our full-time faculty, we also employ more than 20 trainers at Thunderbird’s Center for Business Skills Development in Moscow, Russia. Thunderbird is able to draw from the content and experience of this group in order to deliver exemplary education around the globe.

With the breadth of the Thunderbird Educator Network, we can deploy a network of approximately 200 educators on five continents who have the capability and capacity to deliver dynamic global learning solutions with extensive variety in:

Rich Ettenson, Ph.D.
Richard Ettenson, Ph.D,. is Professor and Keickhefer Fellow of Global Marketing and Brand Strategy, Global Business Faculty at the Thunderbird School of Global Management. His areas of expertise include helping companies align their business, marketing and brand strategies to create value for customers, employees and shareholders. He is also a senior partner in Type 2 Consulting, a NYC-based business
strategy and brand consultancy.

 

Kannan Rmaswamy

Kannan Ramaswamy
Kannan Ramaswamy is the William D. Hacker Chair Professor of Management in global business at Thunderbird School of Global Management. He is world-renowned for his expertise on global strategy, emerging markets – including India and South Asia, the energy sector, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions and global management. A native of India who is now a U.S. citizen, Ramaswamy has consulted for several U.S. and European multinationals. He is an award-winning executive educator whose teaching and research interests span emerging market multinationals, business groups and corporate diversification, mergers and acquisitions, privatization, and joint ventures.

Suzanne Peterson, Thunderbird Global Speaker Series

Suzanne Peterson 
Suzanne Peterson is an associate professor of leadership. She is focused on bringing her leadership expertise and content to Thunderbird’s executive education clients as well as the growing graduate student base. She has previously served as faculty director of executive education at Arizona State University’s W. P. Carey School of Business where she served as a liaison between industry and academia. Although she advises senior executives in a variety of industry sectors, the majority of her time has been spent on Wall Street and other financial services firms. She has advised leaders in firms such as J.P. Morgan Chase, Morgan Stanley, Societe Generale, Fidelity, and Bank of America Merrill Lynch, as well as Blue Cross Blue Shield, Avnet, McDonalds, State Farm, and Microsoft to name a few.

Lena Booth

Lena Booth
Lena Booth is associate dean of academic programs, a finance professor and academic director of the online Master of Global Management (MGM) program at Thunderbird. She teaches strategic financial analysis, corporate financial management, global financial management, and advanced topics in finance such as global private equity. Born in Malaysia and educated in Singapore and the U.S., she speaks and writes English, Chinese, and Malay and speaks a few Chinese dialects.

Bill Youngdahl

Bill Youngdahl

William (“Bill”) Youngdahl is an associate professor of project and operations leadership and William D. Hacker Faculty Fellow at Thunderbird School of Global Management. He also serves as the academic director for Thunderbird’s Leading Global Projects executive education program. Youngdahl teaches in Thunderbird’s MBA, Executive MBA, and Executive Education Programs. His is a sought-after speaker, executive coach and educator.
