The core of the Thunderbird Educator Network is its global array of distinguished full-time faculty at Thunderbird and affiliated faculty members, industry experts, coaches and trainers from around the globe, allowing us to meet our clients’ needs around the world. These top-quality educators have consistently been ranked among the best Executive Education faculty by Financial Times.

Thunderbird faculty members are recognized for their experience, diversity, pragmatic research, global business knowledge and applied program design. In addition to our full-time faculty, we also employ more than 20 trainers at Thunderbird’s Center for Business Skills Development in Moscow, Russia. Thunderbird is able to draw from the content and experience of this group in order to deliver exemplary education around the globe.

Rich Ettenson, Ph.D.
Richard Ettenson, Ph.D,. is Professor and Keickhefer Fellow of Global Marketing and Brand Strategy, Global Business Faculty at the Thunderbird School of Global Management. His areas of expertise include helping companies align their business, marketing and brand strategies to create value for customers, employees and shareholders. He is also a senior partner in Type 2 Consulting, a NYC-based business
strategy and brand consultancy.


Paul Thurman

Paul W. Thurman, DrPH
Paul W. Thurman has been a member of the Thunderbird Educator Network for the past six years. Dr. Thurman designs, delivers and provides his expertise as an Academic Director on some of Thunderbird’s most complex global programs throughout Europe, the Middle East and the United States. He is most known for his highly engaging and experiential style that allows participants a real learning experience, enabling them to immediately apply their learnings to their current and future roles
