Silo Busting: Leading, Communicating & Collaborating Across Organizational Boundaries

Home / Executive Education / In-Person Programs / Silo Busting: Leading, Communicating & Collaborating Across Organizational Boundaries

This one-day workshop helps participants understand how the organizational boundaries between functions, products, geography, and hierarchy enable and impede effective communication and collaboration.

Washington, D.C.

If you’ve worked in an office environment long enough, you know how organizational boundaries – silos – obstruct effective communication and collaboration.

Silo Busting is the unique kind of leadership required to work effectively across the organizational boundaries created by hierarchies, functions, departments, business units, and geographic locations.

Organizations perform best when members of groups, teams, and units understand how their work is connected to the entire enterprise. Differences in jobs, roles, experience and expectations get in the way of great performance, even when individual people are doing what seems to be the right thing.
