Mastering Dark-Side Crisis Management

During this program, participants take a new look at emotional and social intelligence from the dark side, considering individual predispositions about and reactions to crises. You will engage in effective personal executive development, including skill-building for detecting and managing angry, fearful and sad stakeholders inside the organization and beyond.

  • Develop the ability to read and identify problems before they become crises.
  • Improve your ability to anticipate and respond to stakeholders and situations across diverse cultures.
  • Sharpen your organization’s ability and capacity to develop, model and disseminate psychological hardiness.
  • Learn techniques for establishing organizational norms and procedures for dealing with crises.
  • Examine causes, consequences and costs of insidious workplace behavior and how it can impact crisis response.

This program is designed for seasoned leaders seeking to further advance their thinking, their networks and their careers. Participants will represent a range of B2C and B2B industries from a diversity of companies, countries and cultures. The program is ideal for vice presidents, directors and senior staff responsible for identifying and managing potential crises that could occur in their organization or industry. This program is for leaders looking to make a significant impact on their company’s ability to survive crisis- and risk-related issues facing their organization, especially within the context of today’s global and/or cross-cultural responsibilities. Senior managers across other business functions who have recently transitioned to roles that might have to address these issues will also benefit from the program.
