Overview

The Executive Master of Global Management (EMGM) is a 12-month lock step program designed for busy professionals seeking a top ranked management degree. The program begins with an intensive residential module at Thunderbird’s state of the art facilities in downtown Phoenix, followed by weekend sessions with Thunderbird faculty throughout the year.


The curriculum combines advanced management coursework with cross cultural insight and regional studies, preparing graduates to lead global businesses, nonprofits, and government organizations. Students develop the skills to manage projects and teams across borders, navigate complex international operations, and influence at all organizational levels.


More than a traditional executive business degree, the program takes a transdisciplinary approach that blends business, trade, public policy, and international affairs. Through experiential learning and practical applications, participants gain the tools to master global communications, negotiations, and the dynamics of international political economy, building well rounded leadership for today’s interconnected world.
