Thomas J Kull, professor of supply chain management, joined the W. P. Carey School of Business as an assistant professor of supply chain management in 2007.
Kulls research interests include behavioral issues in operations and supply management, and supply chain risk issues. His passion for supply chain management can be seen in his most recent research, Acting as Expected: Global Leadership Preferences and the Pursuit of an Integrated Supply Chain. His work has been published in premier, academic journals, including the Journal of Operations Management, Journal of Business Logistics, and Decision Sciences. Professor Kull is also the principal inventor of "Coffee Trade: A Contract Negotiation Simulation" available at https://forio.com/store/asu-coffee-trade-simulation/ and "Shipshape" a mobile supply chain learning simulation for developing country healthcare workers (available on the App Store and Play Store (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/shipshape-scm/id1511349582?ls=1).
He currently serves on the editorial boards of five premier journals and is a member of the Decisions Sciences Institute, Academy of Management, and the Production Operations Management Society. He has been commended for his contributions to academia, most recently being an inaugural winner of the GLOBE Robert J. House Best Research Paper Award.
