Global Speaker Series: "High-Impact Leadership" with Thunderbird's Dr. Suzanne Peterson

High-Impact Leadership - Thunderbird Global Speaker Series

NOTE: The in-person event is now sold out. Please RSVP to attend via live stream.

Possessing leadership qualities and displaying leadership behaviors are key requirements for any manager who wants to achieve success through people. In this session, Thunderbird School of Global Management Associate Professor of Leadership Suzanne Peterson, Ph.D. will discuss what high-impact leaders do differently and uniquely to achieve both results and loyalty in relationships.

The High-Impact Leadership approach is based on the assumption that leadership is not a temperament, but a choice and leaders choose how to behave. Within that framework, we will cover three key areas:

  • Driving Performance and Accountability: Unique and actionable ways to inspire team members toward collaboration, loyalty and performance while creating “conditions of accountability.”
  • Presenting Yourself as a Leader: Flexing between leadership and management, with attention paid to the verbal and non-verbal language that can influence how you are perceived as a leader.
  • Inspiration and Motivation as Leadership Tools: Going beyond recognition, praise and money to find unique and actionable ways to motivate and inspire people toward collaboration, loyalty and performance.

Join us for a reception from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m., followed by the keynote address from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.

Note: This event will be live-streamed. RSVP to receive the link to watch online!
