Thunderbird Library Hours

There are a few changes to the Thunderbird Library operating hours.

The normal Library schedule is:

Monday-Thursday: 9 am – 8 pm, Friday: 9 am - 4 pm, Saturday: CLOSED, Sunday: CLOSED

For the week of Thanksgiving the Library will be open during the following:

Monday (November 19th): 9 am - 8 pm, Tuesday (November 20th): 9 am – 8 pm, Wednesday (November 21st): 9 am – 1 pm, Thursday (November 22nd): CLOSED, Friday (November 23rd): CLOSED, Saturday (November 24th): CLOSED, Sunday (November 25th): CLOSED

The schedule for extended hours/finals:

Mon-Thurs (November 26th – November 29th): 9 am – 8 pm, Friday (November 30th): 9 am – 4 pm, Saturday (December 1st): 9 am – 4 pm, Sunday (December 2nd ): CLOSED, Mon-Tues (December 3rd-4th): 9 am – 8 pm, Wed (Dec 5th): 9 am – 8 pm, Thurs (Dec 6th): 9 am – 8 pm, Fri (Dec 7th): 9 am – 4 pm, Sat-Sun (Dec 8th-9th): CLOSED.

Beginning Dec 10th - Jan 6th the Library will be on the Winter Break schedule:

Mon-Fri: 9 am – 4 pm, Sat-Sun: CLOSED

TEC Student Experience Fund Application

The TEC is offering students the opportunity to request funds to support the enhancement of academics, career pursuits, cultural experiences and/or Thunderbird tradition. Fund requests can be made for up to $2,500.  See the attached flyer for details about the request process which includes an outline of the benefits or outcomes expected, a 5 minute video pitch and a budget.  Questions can be referred to Robyn McLaughlin

Regional Night Thank you 

We would like to thank all of the Students, faculty, and staff members that assisted in making our first Regional Night downtown a huge success! 

TSG Elections for your Spring 2019 Officers! 

Each currently enrolled Thunderbird student will recieve a secure election ballot from Survey Monkey on Thursday. Each student may vote once for the President, Vice-President, and Treasurer to represent the Thunderbird student body in the Spring 2019 term.  All voting ends at 11:59 pm on November 24, 2018.

Public Meeting -  Monday November 26, 1:30-2:30 pm Room 730 

Join us for the last TSG public meeting of the semester!  We will recap all of projects this semester and introduce the Spring 2019 Officers!

CMC Corner

Faculty Career Impact Project:

  • The goal: improve student employment rates after graduation.
  • The how: full-time students are divided into groups based on career aspirations. Each group consists of one faculty advisor and one CMC representative. The first meetings will be arranged by the CMC, and following meetings are to be decided by students and faculty based on what the needs are. Faculty members are welcomed to plan social activities with students.

Rated one of the best/most informative sessions by the student body of 2017, the U.S. Department of State is coming back to the Thunderbird Campus! They will be providing in-depth information about the U.S. Department of State so you won’t want to miss this!

Non Graduating Students Attending Convocation - TICKETS ARE REQUIRED 

Thunderbird is excited to graduate more than 150 students next month. If you are not graduating, but would like to attend the ceremony to show support for friends, a ticket is REQUIRED! To obtain a ticket, you can either ask a graduating student or visit the 9th floor reception desk during regular business hours. All are welcome, but please keep in mind you cannot attend without a ticket. Finally, the clear bag policy will be strictly enforced.
