Thunderbird’s Project DreamCatcher empowers Native American entrepreneurs to thrive

Charmayne Dawahoya grew up on the White Mountain Apache Reservation, where she and her husband co-own Bear Beans Coffee. Seeking to expand her entrepreneurial knowledge and advance her business with a sustainable mindset, Dawahoya enrolled in Project DreamCatcher — a week-long business training program specifically designed for female Native American entrepreneurs.

Thunderbird at ASU launches into the metaverse with Space Force satellite launch viewing

On Jan. 18, the Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University virtually launched the United States Space Force’s Global Positioning System III SV06 satellite, named Earhart, into the metaverse, timing it with the actual launch of the GPS III SV06 Earhart satellite into space.

The Pub at Thunderbird School of Global Management serves students, professors and the public

Alumni not only played a role in bringing this edition to its contemporary brick-and-mortar status, it exists because of them. Plaques on the backs of chairs and discs that bear the name on the airplane’s mural along the bar and on the rooftop lounge are nods to the donors without whom it would not have been a success.
