Alexandra Janosek
Biography
Alexandra Janosek works on a team to design and manage online instructional content for international business clientele at Thunderbird School of Global Management. In preparing Executive Education online programs, She works closely with faculty across schools to produce cross-discipline online Executive Education programs. Alexs goal is to present useful concepts and the latest research in a welcoming environment for the global business person to discuss.
In the past seven years, Alex has handled a diverse set of responsibilities at Thunderbird Executive Education. She was the main point of contact for corporate participants during their online Executive Education experience, provided day-to-day technical support in Moodle, Blackboard, and Canvas to online clients and colleagues, provided reporting and administrative support to key members of client teams, and managed all online program facilitators. She also has worked on different teams to test then transfer online content to ASU servers, test and convert online content for upgrades/changes in software, and design invoices for Executive Education to use in Salesforce.
Alex holds a BA degree in Journalism & Mass Communication and a Masters degree in Third World Development Support with an emphasis in Environmental Sustainability, both from the University of Iowa. She also has earned a masters certificate in Instructional Design from the University of Arizona.
Between her education and experience, Alexs skills extend from writing and multi-media production, to event organization and community outreach. Her passion for working with youth and sustainable development have led her to work for organizations such as Peace Corps-Bulgaria, United Cerebral Palsy, and the University of Minnesotas Talented Youth Mathematics Program.
