Joerg Geier
Biography
Joerg Geier is an executive education professional with extensive experience in sustainable innovation, capacity building and ecosystem development.
He has curated high-level programs and conferences on a range of topics, including sustainable futures, and conducted research on green entrepreneurship. Joerg is the former Director of Executive Education at Cambridge University’s Judge Business School where he led business development including client relationship management for customized and international programs.
He developed a business plan for an online learning (“MOOC”) startup and initiated, on behalf of Santa Clara University’s Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship, a new impact investing program targeting angel investors, family offices and wealth advisors. Joerg has worked as a consultant focused on sustainable development and project development and supports startups with fundraising and mentoring.
Joerg is also co-founder of PDIE Group, an agency offering consulting, research, and ecosystem building services in the areas of sustainable innovation and entrepreneurship. He is co-founder and program chair of the Arts & Nature Social Club, a members' club whose mission it is to sensitize leaders to planetary challenges.
As a former Fulbright scholar and member and former Deputy Secretary General of the Club of Rome, impact orientation and systems design characterize Joerg’s interests.
