Uyen Tran

Tran is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Thunderbird-ASU. Her recent work studies how broadband internet is changing the US retail sector. Her research agenda examines how information affects consumer behavior, combining insights from empirical industrial organization, information economics, and the economics of education.

She received her undergraduate education from ASU. She lived in Vietnam as a Fulbright Teaching Fellow and worked as a Transfer Pricing Associate at PwC before completing her MS in Economics at UNC-Chapel Hill. She received my MBA and PhD in Quantitative Marketing from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
