As Thunderbird School of Global Management enters its 10th year as part of Arizona State University, a new decade welcomes the next director general and dean, Charla Griffy-Brown.
Her post begins July 1; in the interim, she is serving as acting dean and director general.

China landed a spacecraft on the Moon this weekend for the fourth time, successfully placing its Chang’e 6 lander in the South Pole-Aitken Basin on the far side of the Moon.
After the landing on Saturday evening (United States time), the autonomous spacecraft will spend about 48 hours collecting samples. It will do so by two different means, drilling to collect material from beneath the ground, as well as using a robotic arm to gather regolith from the surface.

This wealth of data presents a valuable opportunity for the tourism industry to uncover insights and support better and timely decision-making, which is something that Thunderbird students achieved as part of its final project in the Big Data in the Age of the Global Economy course.
On 19 April The Case Centre visited Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University to present Euvin Naidoo, Distinguished Professor of Practice for Global Accounting, Risk and Agility, with the 2024 Outstanding Case Teacher prize.
