Professional development is an ongoing process of in the Thunderbird curriculum. Through events & workshops, coaching appointments, career tools & resources and career clubs, students are constantly exploring and pursuing the right fit for their post-grad careers. This process focuses on the values as well as the skills and interests a student possesses.

All Thunderbird Master of Global Management (MGM) students are strongly encouraged to seek out a summer internship between their first and second years. The Thunderbird Career Management (CMC) supports all graduate students with their internship goals and objectives, with 94% of students obtaining an internship. The CMC provides resume guidance, interviewing techniques and skills, and internship companies/organizations to all who qualify for an internship.

We want to ensure you are able to make the most of your studies. Our enriching graduate curriculum will help develop your global understanding of different peoples, cultures, and management practices. Additionally, there are many co-curricular opportunities your Academic Advisor(s) can help you explore while ensuring you graduate on time.

Your Academic Advisor(s) will also answer questions about which classes meet certain requirements, which concentration is the best fit for your career goals, what classes are necessary for graduation, and whether you’re on track for graduation.
