Aaron Gencarelle

Aaron Gencarelle is an accomplished multimedia and audiovisual professional with more than 20 years of experience spanning broadcast television, live event production, video production, streaming technologies, studio operations, and enterprise AV/IT systems. His background includes technical leadership, project coordination, equipment installation and troubleshooting, content creation, and the management of complex live and recorded productions.
Most recently, Aaron served as a Senior Broadcast Audio Technician with Arizona PBS/ASU, supporting broadcast, livestreamed, and recorded productions, including work with PBS NewsHour. His responsibilities included operating professional audio and video systems, managing broadcast assets, troubleshooting equipment, and training staff, students, and interns. He has also owned and operated multimedia and podcast production businesses and previously held AV leadership and production roles in higher education, conference and event environments, municipal television, and commercial broadcasting.
Aaron’s educational and professional development includes training in film production, screenwriting, cinematography, and broadcasting/television production. He holds a Certificate in Screenwriting from Scottsdale Community College, completed broadcasting and television production training through the East Valley Institute of Technology, and has earned Dante Level 1 and 2 certifications. He also holds FAA Part 107 credentials for unmanned aircraft operations.
His combination of hands-on production expertise, technical AV/IT knowledge, leadership experience, and experience supporting educational environments provides a strong foundation for multimedia and creative services work in higher education.
