Saba Hussain

Saba Hussain brings more than 20 years of experience at the intersection of space, defense, and global management. She has held leadership roles at NASA Ames Research Center, the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), and the Department of Defense, managing major program captures and multi-million dollar budgets across the full spectrum of civil, defense, and commercial space. At Thunderbird School of Global Management, she leads the Thunderbird Space Industry Network and the Global Space Leadership Executive Education portfolio, including the Master of Leadership and Management for the Emerging Space Economy. She is co-author of 'Launching the Space Workforce' (IAC peer-reviewed, 2025) and presented the Global Space Leadership and Strategy Series at the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) ASCEND Conference in Washington D.C. (May 2026). Saba is a founding architect of Thunderbird's space education strategy and the primary designer of this program's curriculum.
