Pitch Competition

Overview

Thunderbird’s annual Pitch Competition is an exciting, enriching opportunity for alumni and students to come together and share in the entrepreneurial spirit that makes T-birds so unique. The Pitch Qualifier and Competition provide students with a platform to "pitch” their business ideas to expert panels of judges comprised of alumni across varied industries with an array of experience. After impressing judges during the qualifier rounds of the competition, the most successful students are invited to the formal Pitch Competition to compete for cash awards to help support their businesses. Throughout the process, students receive invaluable feedback from the talent and expertise of alumni judges and mentors.

Volunteering to serve as a Pitch Qualifier judge, a Pitch Competition mentor, or being selected as a Pitch Competition judge, allows alumni to give back to Thunderbird, get to know current students, provide valuable guidance to young entrepreneurs, and both inspire and be inspired by the next generation as they address critical global issues through innovation and dedication.

Requiring a time commitment of only hours, the Pitch Competition at Thunderbird is one of the most fun and rewarding ways for alumni to stay engaged.
