Center overview

Established in 2021, the Taipei Virtual Center advances Thunderbird’s engagement with Taiwan through student recruitment, academic collaboration, and industry partnerships. The Center serves as a strategic hub connecting global management education with one of the world’s most influential innovation ecosystems, including the global semiconductor industry.

Taiwan plays a central role in global supply chains, advanced manufacturing, and technological leadership. The Taipei Virtual Center ensures Thunderbird maintains a sustained and meaningful presence in the region while supporting applied learning, institutional partnerships, and cross-border collaboration.

Strategic priorities

Key initiative

The Taipei Virtual Center leads flagship initiatives, including Taiwan Initiatives, open-enrollment programs focused on global leadership; a strategic partnership with the Stan Shih Foundation supporting innovation and leadership development; and the first-ever ASU Taiwan Symposium, which convenes leaders from academia, industry, and the Thunderbird global network.
